Terms of service for orders placed to Ryuu Daiga as of May 6, 2020
Ryuu Daiga's Commission Prices
How to propose an order
You can email or Private/Direct message me on Twitter/Telegram with your prepared order.
Example of an order - "Hello Ryuu, are you open for commissions? I would like to commission you for [commission type I have advertised/other idea you have]. Thank you, [your name]"
Pricing - Please include your budget if I do not have a set price for the type of drawing you would like. I am willing to work with you to find a price that is fair for you and me. If I have a set price for a type of drawing, I cannot lower that price but I can adjust your order to a lower level of completion for a cheaper price.
Reference - Include a high resolution reference image with your message. This can be a drawn AND colored digital reference sheet (flat colors preferred), artwork of the character showing all relevant features, or a photo of a 3D piece (eg your fursuit) showing all relevant features in bright lighting.
*I will not design a client's character while working on a commissioned illustration of said character (exceptions apply if I am creating your reference sheet).
Upon receiving an order
•I reserve the right to refuse or to cancel an order and refund the client based on how much work was completed.
•The client must provide me with reliable contact information--Telegram, Twitter, Facebook messenger, phone texting, and email are acceptable. Platforms such as Kik are unacceptable as old messages are deleted automatically.
•The client may request a deadline of 2 weeks or under for a fee. I cannot guarantee shipped orders will make deadlines, please allow up to a week before a shipped order is required.
•I will accept a maximum of 2 separate projects per month from any single client.
Things I will not draw on commission:
Fecal matter
Self-harm (some exceptions, please ask if unsure)
Erotic bloodplay
Payment
•Full payment is required within 24 hours of order acceptance. Some exceptions (eg. payment plans) apply.
•If an invoice is not fully paid for within 48 hours, I may choose to remove the order from my waiting list and refund any payment made minus the cost of any work completed by that point.
•I will accept Paypal/card for online payment and Paypal/cash/card for in-person payment. For Paypal payments I will send an invoice to the client's supplied Paypal email address.
•Payment plans are available for return clients only.
Upon receipt of payment
•I will provide the client with 1 work in progress (WIP) at the (traditional) sketch or (digital) lineart stage and 1 more after finishing the artwork for approval.
•I will make 1 major change for free. Further changes will incur a fee depending on complexity. Correcting mistakes on my part (based only on the reference I am provided) will be my responsibility. I will not correct mistakes made based on an inaccurate provided reference for free.
•Any additional fees will be charged after final image is approved and before delivery.
•Prices are subject to change, however I will not increase the price of a paid waiting-list order previously agreed upon with a client unless they request changes to their order that incur additional fees.
Rights
•I retain all rights to the work I create and may use it in the future for self-promotion or personal merchandising purposes. I will not sell the rights for a commissioned piece to another client without permission. If a client wishes a commissioned piece of a sensitive nature not be used publicly in the future the client must propose this request in writing (email or paper).
•A client may not edit or recreate a piece I create for them without my permission. I may edit a piece I have created for a client for an additional fee. A client may not profit off a piece I have created without agreeing upon a new contract with me.
Refunds
•Please allow 2 weeks of 0%-49% completion before asking for a refund. If a client changes their mind about wanting an order, I may offer a partial to full refund depending on how much I have completed. I will not refund an order that is 50%-100% completed. I will not refund a completed and shipped order.
•If a client is unhappy with the finished piece due to a mistake on my part, I will not refund the order.
Bottom line: If you are unsure of my rules, please ask me before placing your order!
